Mrs. C informed me today that Birthday Lady,
the little old lady who used to phone us whenever anyone famous died,
to ask their birthday, had phoned this morning to learn the birth-date
of actor Jerry Orbach, who died this week.
It's been quite a while since we've heard anything
from Birthday Lady. In fact, I don't think we've heard from her since my
original post about her in November 2003, when she called about Art
Carney. I was starting to worry that perhaps someone should be calling
to ask us what day she had been born.
For the record, he was born October 20, 1935.
